A: There isn’t a bargain tyre in the size 255/50 R16. It is very much a tyre for performance cars such as Ferrari 288 GTO and Aston Martin Vantage. The Pirelli P-Zero is a genuine period tyre.
A: Pirelli make the P-Zero System. This is a 255/50 R16 P-Zero Assimetrico which fits on the rear of your TestRossa or 288GTO, They also make the 225/50 R16 for the front. These are genuine 1980s tyre. Michelin make 255/50 R16 tyres & 225/50 R16 tyres in the SX MXX3 which is a slightly later tyre. Both are excellent.
