Pneumatici Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet
Pneumatici Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Serie 2

History of the Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet S1 & S2
The original 250 GT Cabriolet Pinin Farina Series I made its premiere at the 1957 Geneva Motor Show, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm (102.4 in) and a body that varied from the Berlinetta. A total of 36 models were constructed before the Series 2 was shown in Paris in 1959. These latter cars resembled the manufacturing Berlinetta. There were around 200 Series II cars produced. The 250 GT Series I Cabriolet and Coupé was named ninth among the ten "Greatest Ferraris of All Time" by Motor Trend Classic.
In addition to the high-volume coupé, Pinin Farina created a simpler 250 GT Cabriolet for series manufacturing. The GT Cabriolet S2 debuted at the 1959 Paris Motor Show, looking similar to the GT Coupé of the previous year, with the exception of the elimination of the side vents, and the exposed headlamps of the Coupé. A total of 212 were produced.
