Pneumatici Berkeley SA322 SE328

History of the SA322
The 'Sports' (type SA322) was Berkeley's first production automobile, announced in September 1956 and manufactured from October 1956 to January 1957. Stirling Moss drove a type SA322 at Goodwood in September 1956. The car was unveiled to the public at the 1956 London Motor Show, showing off its fibreglass monocoque construction, a whole year before the legendary Lotus Elite popularised the technology.
History of the SE328
Following the production of 163 SA322 cars, the SE328 model was modified to include a 328 cc Excelsior engine producing 18 horsepower.  Production ran from January 1957 to April 1958, with chassis numbers ranging from 164 to 1422, many were exported to the United States, where they were sold for around $1600. The manufacturer emphasised the number 70, implying that it could hit 70 mph, and had a fuel economy of 70 mpg on average.
